Do you like Caffeine? Google does!

Google recently announced it’s new Google Caffeine infrastructure.

According to Google’s Webmaster Central Blog a large team of Googlers have been working on this top secret project for several months.

“The new infrastructure sits “under the hood” of Google’s search engine, which means that most users won’t notice a difference in search results. But web developers and power searchers might notice a few differences, so we’re opening up a web developer preview to collect feedback.”

BOTTOM LINE. It appears to me that Google is getting much tighter on it’s search algorithm. This may mean that those companies that espouse ROI, based on SEO campaigns, may be looking for other ways to earn a living. Or put another way according to SeoBook, “Google is doing everything in their power to diminish ROI of algorithmically focused optimization efforts”.

While things are changing the message still seems; stick to good SEO practices as outlined by Google and build quality content into your sites.

Who knows you may become an authority site in your industry and thus rewarded with a good page rank.(SERP)

Let us know your feedback on SEO and Caffeine and whether you think this is a good thing for the search industry or not.
